Farmers and workers from the unorganized sectors usually find it hard to make ends meet because of a lack of opportunities and lack of skills. They often find jobs that just about help them scrape through months, without the privilege of a dignified life.

The Haryana state government, having realized the dilapidated lifestyle of such farmers and workers from the unorganized sectors, have initiated a scheme for them to benefit from. It is called the Mukhyamantri Parivar Samriddhi Yojana.

Benefits of this scheme

The benefits under the Mukhyamantri Parivar Samriddhi Yojana are phased out in two categories.

Category 1: For workers and farmers from the age group 18-40 can choose from the following 4 options.

Option 1: financial assistance of ₹6000 per year in 3 installments of ₹2000 each

Option 2: the beneficiary who would be nominated by the family would get ₹36,000 after 5 years of joining the scheme

Option 3: once the applicant touches age 60, she/he will get a pension between ₹3000 and ₹15000 on a monthly basis

Option 4: the elected family members will get ₹15000 to ₹30000 after 5 years.

Category 2: For those from age 40-60

Option 1: ₹6000 per year in three installments of ₹2000 each

Option 2: ₹36000 after five years of joining the scheme
