What documents are needed to apply for the UP Divyang Shadi Yojana?

In order to avail of the benefits of the scheme, the following documents are a must:

  1. Aadhaar card of the couple
  2. Residence certificate
  3. Handicapped certificate
  4. Marriage registration certificate
  5. Joint account operated in a nationalized bank
  6. Mobile number
  7. Passport size photos.

Eligibility criteria for the Divyang Shadi Yojana

In order to be eligible for the scheme, the following criteria needs to be met:

  1. The applicants should be permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh.
  2. Applicants should have to upload their marriage certificates online.
  3. Disability percentage should be a minimum of 40% or a maximum of 100%.
  4. The male and female getting married should be 21 and 18 years or above respectively and should have a certificate to prove their age.

Benefits under the scheme

If only the man is differently-abled in the couple, the grant for marriage will be ₹15,000 and if the woman is differently-abled, then the grant will be ₹20,000. If both in the couple are differently-abled, then they will get a grant of ₹35,000
