Summing it up
Labourers and construction workers have always been looked down upon since their task is considered to be menial. However, only on closer inspection can one really know the trials and efforts they have to go through to get through a days work.
Their line of work involves several accidents, injuries. Yet, they show up the next day so that they get their daily wages enough to run their house. They always show up to work, through rains, scorching heat, aching bodies and ailments, just so that they have enough to run their houses.
With the implementation of this scheme in the state of Haryana, labourers can now breathe a sigh of relief. With the onset of one benefit – that of pension – coming their way, one can be hopeful that more benefits do reach out to those who toil their lives away so that we have a roof over our heads.
